Senior Analyst, Marketing and Incrementality Analytics

We are currently looking for hardworking and analytically-minded individual to join the marketing & incrementality analytics team, working on building and delivering against non-user level methodologies, directly influencing the company strategy and touching a broad range of areas! These include (but not limited to) experimentation/testing, Marketing Mix Modelling, connected TV analytics, channel investment scenario modelling and other generalized pieces of analysis as well as working across a variety of marketing channel owner partners and external vendors.

What you’ll do:

You will be part of the team which continues to transform how we measure the performance of our marketing activities. You will be involved in advertising-related analytics projects which include the following:

  • Continuous improvement of our global geo-matching programme & tool build. This involves maintenance of SQL and complex R programming to solve for optimal geo-based test and control cohorts. Geo-matching projects also require understanding of media data to deliver return on investment & incrementality analysis to non-technical leadership
  • Developing various methodological approaches to marketing analytics, including Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM)
  • Helping management to continue spearheading cross brand alignment across working practices, methodologies and tool/data builds
  • Collaborating to create new ideas and improvements to processes from data-warehousing to tool interfaces and across measurement of short and long term business impacts of media
  • Working to implement solutions via 3rd party analysis vendors, where appropriate
  • Communicating recommendations to various partners at multiple levels of seniority

Who you are:

  • Outstanding logical thinking, a very strong background in a quantitative subject area such as mathematics, research, data science or similar with the ability to mentor and grow less experienced analysts
  • Strong technical (programming & statistical) skills and ability to ramp up quickly
  • Strong query and scripting language skills to perform data analysis, independently of platform or language. SQL & R preferable, Python would be a bonus
  • A strong desire to learn about and evolve in a business environment including the ability to adapt yours and less experienced analysts' weekly work plan as brand analytics focus shifts
  • The ability to deliver, and assist individuals at the analyst level role with, rapid results and insights using the most practical approach (even if it’s not the most exciting for you)
  • Skills to thrive in a fast paced & global / multi-time-zone environment
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to present sophisticated concepts to more senior members of our leadership team in a concisely and clearly manner
  • A firm understanding of how media/advertising metrics work. Knowledge of acquisition channels as a bonus
  • Curiosity and passion for making an impact. High energy, can-do attitude and good interpersonal skills
