Privacy Counsel has responsibility in managing significant litigation for the Expedia Group companies worldwide. The Expedia in-house privacy team consists of experienced attorneys and paralegals who advise all Expedia Group brands worldwide on compliance with global privacy laws.
The position will manage privacy matters in the Asia-Pacific Region for all Expedia Group brands, including responding to inquiries from privacy regulators, assisting customer service with privacy complaints, tracking privacy legislation in the region, advising on privacy and data security handling provisions in contracts, providing privacy training to business clients, and managing outside counsel resources in the region. This position will be based in Singapore and report to the Senior Director – Global Privacy.
