Senior Product Manager

We are searching for a Product Manager to join Vrbo’s partner product team to define and build products that support our partners: vacation rental owners and property managers. Specifically, you will be working with our Escapia software team, which helps over 1,000 vacation rental managers run their business through streamlined operations.

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will work closely with the engineering, design, data & content platforms, and other product teams to deliver the vision for Escapia product platform. You will serve as a product authority, combining industry analysis, market research, end-user feedback and site usage data to lead the product lifecycle: setting the vision and product roadmap, defining requirements, collaborating with design and development to define, implement, deploy, a/b test, measure, and refine features to deliver an outstanding partner experience for our partners and end users.


  • Develop, communicate and execute the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Escapia software platform, which will help transform property manager business operations
  • Lead a feature team during preparation and participation in 180-day planning sessions, monthly product reviews, and deep dive workshops.
  • Engage with our user community and industry authorities to understand the evolving needs of our market.
  • Work with the executive management team to ensure they are fully engaged in strategic and tactical planning decisions
  • Collaborate daily with the Engineering, User Experience, Analytics and Marketing teams to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and accurately phased to facilitate timely delivery of functionality.
  • Actively participate in agile product development process for roadmap implementation, writing product requirements, user stories, and maintaining the product backlog of priorities in close cooperation with design and engineering
  • Partner with Customer Support to delight the customer and drive NPS.
  • Define data and reporting requirements and drive implementation with the data engineering and business intelligence teams
  • Design, implement and analyze a/b tests to drive key performance metrics
  • Lead a set of projects across the software development life cycle; execution, status reporting and coordination against project plans and delivery commitments
  • Launch products and features in cooperation with customer service, product marketing and marketing on go-to-market and lifecycle marketing strategies
  • Balance resolution of urgent technical issues while communicating changes to business partners
  • Define, track and report on user metrics to measure efficiency and drive improvement e.g. feature usage, conversion rates.
  • Make recommendations regarding policy changes that will enable and support the product vision and strategy.

Who You Are:

  • 5-7 years of software product management experience within an agile software development environment.
  • Proven track record managing multiple ongoing complex projects and implementation of web applications (SaaS preferred), while delivering on schedule.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure success for large, complex projects in a rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated experience in embracing product management methodologies, standards and policies
  • Ability to negotiate and influence your peers, work cross-functionally, and dedicatedly prioritize opportunities.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • High level of initiative and desire to build a premier user experience for our customers
  • Ability to travel 10-20%


  • 2+ years of hands on software development experience building Web Based enterprise level applications for B2B customers.
  • Experience in the travel vertical is a plus
  • BS or BA in a related field, MBA is a plus
  • Experience with relational databases and APIs
  • Experience developing products for iOS and Android platforms
