As a Data Engineer on the Consulting Tech Team, you are an expert, familiar with all the data warehousing technical components, infrastructure, and their integration. You’ll analyse large amounts of data, discover and tackle real world problems. You are responsible for high level design - with extensive experience with Star Schemas, Data Cubes and Dimensional Models.
We expect our Data Engineers to build durable data pipelines with the ability to scale elegantly with data volume growth. The code you write will enable our users to get data in a timely manner. You'll work on a variety of tools and systems, most of which are Cloud-based applications or data-platform components (e.g., data pipelines, processing, Visualization, reporting, etc.). In this role, you will be working in Agile development method for faster, quick-wins with the quality of design, development and operating BI components you develop.
This role will suit someone who is energised to work and solve complex data solutions, wants to learn and develop skills and work with a global team. You will have the opportunity to be part of team that builds a platform from scratch, develop legacy systems and be able to learn and develop independently to scale up. You will need to be technically data savvy and but also be able to work on multiple projects and align to global internal customers.
