Sr. Manager, Partner Analytics

The Sr. Manager, Partner Analytics is the liaison between the central analytics teams and the Sales teams located across regions worldwide. The Sr. Manager, Regional Analytics will lead a team of Managers and Analysts located in global regions and strive to drive partner revenue growth and improve conversion rates with a detailed understanding of our partners’ business model, lodging supply, competitive environment, the online travel industry, and market trends. Key stakeholders are the Regional Sales VP, Sales teams, finance, and Revenue Optimization teams. Day to day activities include support of business development initiatives, analysing route-cause for changes in revenue performance, partner level deep-dive analysis, identify revenue opportunities, and work on cross-functional projects.

What you'll do:

  • You will build and manage relationship with stakeholders and partners in the region
  • You will lead a global team of managers and analysts and coordinate projects across regions
  • You will analyse revenue performance and trends across regions, and feedback to central teams
  • You will identify revenue opportunities, perform root-cause, identify problem statement and strive for alignment with stakeholders on timeline and approach to help partner
  • You conduct “deep-dive” analysis at partner or market level and lead cross-functional project teams
  • You provide direction on business priorities based on expected opportunity size
  • You measure KPI performance, including revenue, competitive, and supply metrics
  • You evaluate revenue risk for new strategies and initiatives, and develop strategies to mitigate risks
  • You provide recommendations to improve revenue to partners, stakeholders, and leadership team

Who you are:

  • Graduate degree in IT, Business, or quantitative discipline
  • Experience developing a team, as well as stakeholders and projects in a matrixed environment
  • Strong analytical mindset and skills, specifically demonstrate excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to interact with and influence senior stakeholders & organisation leadership teams
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear manner tailored to the audience
  • Knowledge of web basics such as tagging, HTML, JavaScript, and URL structures
  • Good SQL skills with ability to write SQL from scratch
  • Self-starter mind set and willingness to challenge assumptions/status-quo
  • Experience in data visualization of large datasets (Tableau or other similar tool)
  • Knowledge of Web Analytics tools (Omniture & Google Analytics), experience with R/Python preferred
